The Board of Directors of Samudera Shipping Line Ltd (the "Company") wishes to announce the resignation of Ms Linda Law as Secretary of the Company with effect from 30 July 2004.

Ms Yeo Poh Noi Caroline will remain as Secretary of the Company.
