The Board of Directors of Samudera Shipping Line Ltd ("the Company") wishes to announce that the cost of investments held by the Company in quoted securities as at 30 June 2003 is 5.26% of the Group's consolidated net tangible assets ("NTA") based on the latest audited financial statements as at 31 December 2002.
