The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Samudera Shipping Line Ltd (the "Company") wishes to announce the appointment of Ms Shanti Lasminingsih Poesposoetjipto ("Ms Shanti") as a Senior Advisor to the Company and its subsidiaries (the "Group"), with effect from 1 June 2008.
With her knowledge, professionalism and management experience in several private and governmental organisations, the Board believes it will be good for the Group if Ms Shanti serves as Senior Advisor. Ms Shanti will be providing consultancy and professional advice to the top management of the Group.
